Following the successful launch of the Nivel Parts & Manufacturing website earlier this year, this is the second of ten planned branded site rollouts by Mira Commerce for Nivel and its subsidiaries.
New Website Features
AgKits, a heavy-duty subsidiary of Nivel, is a retail site that offers a wide variety of repair and replacement parts for new and antique tractors, and also carries parts for balers, backhoes, combines, crawlers, loaders, swathers, and more. AgKits is also the leading parts source for truck and heavy equipment engine parts, with multiple warehouse ship points and various shipping options.
Mira Commerce’s extensive experience in the KIBO Unified Platform played an important role in the successful launch of the newly designed AgKits website. The revamped site offers enhanced feature sets and newly designed product kits that simplify the ordering process and improve user experience for merchants shopping online.
Mira Commerce implemented a number of different features on the new B2C AgKits website including product bundles, a parts finder, serialized products, products with core charges, custom coupon code validation, and customized shopping restrictions. Mira Commerce also added WordPress blog integration and third party tools such as Klaviyo, Zendesk Chat, PayPal, Kount, and PowerReviews.
Among all the new features implemented, the most innovative are configurable BOMs (bill of materials), and recursive BOMs. Mira Commerce also added support for BOMs that are in collections.
