URGENT: Fraud Alert – Unauthorized Recruitment Activity

Mira Commerce has been made aware of fraudulent recruitment scams where individuals are being contacted via SMS, WhatsApp, and Telegram by people impersonating our company (using names such as “Sophie” or “Emily Carter” or “Intuit” or similar).

How the Scam Works

Fraudsters are using our brand name and website to offer fictitious “Online Assessor” or “Product Optimization” roles. These messages typically promise:

  • Unrealistic Pay: $100–$600 per day for only 30–60 minutes of work.
  • Fake Platforms: They direct you to register on non-Mira domains (e.g., derivatives our our website name) to perform “rating tasks.”
  • Registration documents: When you request a proof of their legitimacy, fraudsters may send you  Mira Commerce California Statements of Information that are publicly available via California Secretary of State website.
  • The Hook: They may offer a “training commission” to build trust, but will eventually ask you to deposit your own money/cryptocurrency to “unlock” tasks or withdraw earnings.

Important Verification Facts

To protect yourself, please note:

  • Official Channels Only: Mira Commerce only communicates through official @miracommerce.com email addresses. We never conduct recruitment via text message or third-party messaging apps.
  • No Costs to Work: We will never ask a candidate or employee to pay fees, buy equipment, or “top up” an account balance to earn commissions.
  • Website Integrity: Our only official website is www.miracommerce.com. Any site asking you to “log in” to a “workbench” or “PRT system” at a different URL is fraudulent.

What to do if you have been targeted

  1. Stop all communication with the individual immediately and block their number.
  2. Do not click any links or provide sensitive personal information (like your SSN or bank details).
  3. Report the Fraud: * In the USA, report via the FTC Fraud Report or the FBI IC3.
  4. Report the domain to the relevant registrar or hosting provider and to

    Google Safe Browsing.

Mira Commerce is committed to your security. We are working with the authorities and domain registrars to shut down these fraudulent operations.
