TITLE: Sr. Technical Lead Ecommerce Programs
DUTIES: Technical lead for eCommerce applications development and implementation programs using Enterprise-level leading eCommerce platforms. Responsible for designing, developing, and integrating eCommerce applications for retailers, wholesale distributors, and product manufacturers. Tasked with creating solutions for integrations with leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Information Management (PIM), Order Management (OMS), Master Data Management (MDM), and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems. Develops secure, reliable, and scalable cloud middleware applications utilizing different cloud platform providers, including Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services. Leads project discovery, functional, and technical requirements compilation activities. Provides technical guidance and leads development teams in all aspects of web and middleware development practices, frameworks, programming languages, and platforms including JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap, LAMP stack. Implements robust network security measures for eCommerce applications, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Collaborates with development teams to design secure data transmission protocols and network architectures. Evaluates and integrates encryption technologies, firewalls, and secure communication protocols to safeguard sensitive information. Offers strategic guidance for network security enhancements aligned with industry standards. Direct supervision of approximately two to five Software Developers.
Job allows for remote work. Position requires domestic travel to client sites, trade shows and/or conferences approximately six times per year.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Master of Science degree in Communications Networks, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: At least TWO (2) years in the job offered, or at least TWO (2) years of experience with each of the following:
1. Full-stack software development for eCommerce projects
2. SEO optimization for eCommerce projects and integration of 3rd party applications
3. JavaScript, including Angular framework, jQuery & Underscore.js
4. HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap
5. PHP 7
6. Zend OPCache, eAccelerator + Memcached DB configuration and PHP acceleration techniques
7. Bitrix Ecommerce, CRM, CMS platforms
